As a physician it is my philosophy and responsibility to evaluate my patients in a way that reflects the wisdom of Hippocrates and in his words states " IT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHAT PERSON THE DISEASE HAS THAN WHAT DISEASE THE PERSON HAS". I see each individual presenting with a unique set of issues/problems that requires a very tailored, and focused approach. The treatment modalities that range from medication to psychotherapy, a combination treatment and a variety of others (exercise, nutrition) that incorporate the paradigm of wellness rather then a simple generic solution are my ultimate goal. Many of the common issues like anxiety, depression, eating habits, stress in the workplace to name a few have both biological as well as environmental factors. Treatment is recommend after detailed and careful evaluation and I am a strong supporter of holistic approach. Wellness is my philosophy integrating nutrition and exercise into treatment.
