Philosophy:
The focus of my practice is on promoting positive dynamics within relationships which can include individuals, couples, parents, and children. My philosophy is that our past, present situations, and future aspirations strongly influence our interactions with our environment. As we evolve and confront challenges, it is crucial to recognize our past, adapt to our present surroundings, and modify our perceptions and behavior so we may reach our full potential. My aim is assist clients in exploring emotions, developing positive methods of communication, and enhancing the foundations that will support life-long relationships and improve the overall quality of life.
I specialize in family and relationship issues. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and parents in individual and group counseling settings addressing issues such as bullying, grief and loss, divorce, abuse, social skills, anger management, self-esteem issues, and academic concerns.
I am currently accepting clients who are interested in exploring personal growth and development, couples (married and pre-marital), family dynamics, women's issues, communication skills, improving relationships, parenting skills, and children ages 5-17.
