Philosophy:
I believe a counselor must meet the client where they are in life. This means listening, helping assess the issues, and assisting in determining a direction with the best possible solution. Listening must be done compassionately. Another critical aspect to counseling I've found is to give clients feedback. People come to counseling to get input. So give them some insight and suggestions without being forceful or judgemental.
