As a nurse, my experience is variable. I have instr/taught both peers , pts' & families in self care of DIABETES. Have 5+years in documenting using OASIS C, wound cares (including woundVAC) & staging wounds, dressing chgs. Srong experience in CHF care, med adjustment/setup, instr pt & family, communicating w/ other team members to prevent re hospitalization. Ordering other disciplines to become involved in pts' rehabilitation-MD, NP, SW, OT, PT, ST, clergy, HHA, etc. Thanked GOD every night for the individual who invented mapQUEST, being I drove up to 120 miles/day to see patients in their homes. After working in critical care for 5 years earlier in my career, I developed patience, an intense ability to concentrate & how to deal w/ the stress of ICU.
