Saadia R. Akhtar, MD, MSc is board certified in critical care, pulmonary diseases, and internal medicine. She serves as a clinical instructor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Akhtar earned her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and biology from the University of Pittsburgh, and her medical degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor. She earned her Master of Science degree in epidemiology from the University of Washington School of Public Health, and completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. She served her fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center.
