The vast increase in knowledge in recent years regarding brain sciences offers the patients enhanced opportunities to improve their lives. My practice philosophy is to provide state of the art medical care to patients, and to provide an accurate diagnosis and "cutting edge" treatment while avoiding over medication. I enjoy having open friendly communication with patients, and feel patient education is crucial in psychiatry, and leads to better outcomes, no matter what the educational level of patients.
