I have been a resident of the Berkshires for over thirty years, purchasing my first home in Stockbridge in 1978. While raising my three children, I have been employed in the technology field, working most recently as Technology Director at Berkshire Country Day School. Starting in 1996, for a decade, I served as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician on the Lee Volunteer Ambulance Squad; a rewarding experience that deepened my ties to the community. During that period I was also active in training Fire Department first responders (in Lee and Tyringham), community members in CPR and served as a teaching assistant training new EMTs. <br /> <br />My love of real estate began early, when I purchased a parcel with two revolutionary era colonials one of which contained a small retail space. At the age of 22, I had become a landlord with two tenants and a restoration on my hands! I had caught the bug early, so subsequently, in 2002, when a neighbor’s house went on the market, I purchased it, fulfilling a long-standing desire to develop a vacation rental business in the Berkshires.
