Philosophy:
Utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches and techniques, I assist patients in unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding them back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Using EMDR therapy, patients are often able to move beyond troubling or traumatic events to healthier functioning. In addition to therapy, assessments for academic underachievement, dyslexia, and attention problems are also available.
