Dr. Roman Takasaki has been with Canyon View Medical and the Spanish Fork Clinic for over 20 years. During that time he has delivered hundreds of babies as well as cared for their brothers, sisters, parents and grandparents. Dr. Takasaki enjoys taking care of entire families and providing for their health needs. Many patients enjoy the model of family practice where one physician can care for the entire family from birth to death. He also performs many in office procedures. Dr. Takasaki is a native of Provo and graduated from Provo High and received a degree in microbiology from BYU. He served an LDS mission in Hawaii. He received his MD degree from the University of Utah with honors in the family practice department. He then completed his family practice residency in Boise Idaho. After 22 years in Spanish Fork, he now considers it home. Dr. Takasaki and his wife have two married children, two grandsons, and their last son is currently serving in Baltic States mission. He loves living in Utah and enjoys all the outdoor activities that the state provides. He is an avid runner, competing in the St. George marathon for the last ten years as well as three Boston marathons. He also enjoys biking and has finished the 206 mile Logan to Jackson Hole race twice so far. He also enjoys rock climbing, ice climbing, mountain biking, wake boarding, and back country skiing. Dr. Takasaki would find it a pleasure and privilege to be able to care for you and your families health needs.
