Interests:
As you can see, I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner for over fourteen years as well as a registered nurse for more than thirty years and have participated in a wide variety of experiences. This diversity of experience has helped me to become even more attuned to the differences in client presentations. My most recent experiences have been in Family Practice, Cardiology where I supervised all testing, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Emergency Department. This has exposed me to most of the urgent care-type complaints as well as chronic medical conditions of all ages. These include hypertension, CHF, acute MI, diabetes, chronic pain management, influenza, childhood rashes, sore throats, upper respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, just to name a few. My skills include suturing, ECG interpretations, splinting orthopedic injuries and using EMR. I also have management experience. I believe that this only enhances the experience needed to work in your organization.
