Philosophy:
I am uniquely qualified in the care of the bariatric surgical patient based on my experience of over 9,000 procedures performed to date, but also because I am a bariatric patient myself. I am passionate about bariatric surgery due to evolving research and technology, but mostly because I believe that everyone struggling with obesity, diabetes, and other metabolic abnormalities will experience life changing resolution in disease, and drastic improvements in quality of life and life expectancy.
