Method For Combining Input Data With Run-Time Parameters Into Xml Output Using Xsl/Xslt

US Patent:
2007015, Jul 5, 2007
Filed:
Dec 29, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/618359
Inventors:
Robert Anderson - Scottsdale AZ, US
Assignee:
DISCOVERY PRODUCTIONS, INC. - Scottsdale AZ
International Classification:
G06F 17/00, G06F 7/00
US Classification:
715513000, 715515000, 707100000
Abstract:
A system and method is disclosed for adding dynamic information to XML source data without substantial, or preferably any, modification of the underlying source code and without requiring the writing of any XSLT extension functions. The addition of dynamic information enables a user to customize XML source data for display based on parameters known only at run-time. The present invention receives various run-time and system parameters, uses the parameters to construct queries, and executes the queries against internal and/or external data sources. Datasets that are generated based on query execution are converted to XML document fragments and an XSL Transform converts the XML document fragments into a desired markup language file for presentation within a browser application.

Container-Closure Combination With Improved Sealing Feature

US Patent:
5947309, Sep 7, 1999
Filed:
Mar 9, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/036879
Inventors:
Robert S. Anderson - Scottsdale AZ
Assignee:
Premium Plastics, Inc. - Chicago IL
International Classification:
B65D 4104
US Classification:
215 44
Abstract:
A container made from a rigid, polymeric material, or from glass or metal, has a frusto-conical or cylindrical wall defining an outer thread and having an upper edge, which defines a sealing bead extending circumferentially and having a cross-section conforming to a circular arc of more than 180. degree. A closure made from a comparatively resilient, polymeric material has a circumferential recess adapted to receive the sealing bead with a snap fit so as to prove a liquid-tight seal. The closure has a frusto-conical or cylindrical skirt defining an inner thread. A reinforcing bead at a lower edge of the closure skirt clears the outer thread when the closure is snap-fitted or screwed onto the container and provides the closure skirt with sufficient hoop strength to prevent the inner thread from snapping upwardly past the outer thread upon relative rotation of the closure and the container to unscrew the closure from the container.

Polishing Apparatus With Improved Alignment Of Polishing Plates

US Patent:
6113478, Sep 5, 2000
Filed:
Jun 18, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/099638
Inventors:
Robert L. Anderson - Scottsdale AZ
John Hose - Versailles KY
Assignee:
Speedfam-IPEC Corporation - Chandler AZ
International Classification:
B24B 700
US Classification:
451262
Abstract:
In a polishing machine for simultaneous double-sided polishing of workpieces between upper and lower polish tables, the upper polish table has a hollow center telescopically receiving in a drive hub supported from below. The upper polish plate is suspended by a lifting rod from a double-ended main lifting cylinder having upper and lower ends secured to a frame extending from the lower polish table.

Polishing Apparatus With Support Columns Supporting Multiple Platform Members

US Patent:
5957763, Sep 28, 1999
Filed:
Sep 19, 1997
Appl. No.:
8/932578
Inventors:
Robert L. Anderson - Scottsdale AZ
Michael Manseau - Chicago IL
Janusz Aleksander Derza - Prospect Heights IL
John Edward Bussan - Libertyville IL
Assignee:
Speedfam Corporation - Chandler AZ
International Classification:
B24B 704
US Classification:
451262
Abstract:
A polishing machine includes a platform assembly slidably mounted on three support columns. The platform assembly includes first and second platforms captively joined together so as to be slidably movable toward and away from each other. A lift plate is supported above the uppermost platform by a coil spring and an upper polish plate is suspended from the lift plate by a supporting element which passes through the platform assembly. Drive shafts are suspended from an overlying superstructure and engage the upper platform so as to selectively raise and lower the platform assembly and the upper polish plate. The spring allows adjustment of the pressure applied by the upper polish plate.

Urinal

US Patent:
6109441, Aug 29, 2000
Filed:
Dec 23, 1999
Appl. No.:
9/472266
Inventors:
Robert S. Anderson - Scottsdale AZ
Assignee:
Premium Plastics, Inc.
International Classification:
B65D 8500
US Classification:
206526
Abstract:
Two similar urinals are nested in a package so that both urinals occupy a volume less than twice the volume occupied by one of the urinals. Each urinal has a body having a lower wall, an upper mouth, a front wall having an upper portion and a lower portion, and a back wall defining a tangent plane. The upper mouth has a margin defining a plane meeting the tangent plane defined by the back wall at an acute angle. Each urinal fits between an upper plane and a lower plane, each meeting the plane tangent defined by the back wall of said urinal at a right angle. Each urinal has a handle unitary with the body of said urinal and projecting from the body of said urinal, near the upper mouth of the body of said urinal, toward the lower portion of the front wall of the body of said urinal, so as to define a gap between the handle and the upper portion of the front wall of said urinal. The lower portion of the front wall of each urinal defines a tangent plane meeting the tangent plane defined by the back wall of said urinal at an acute angle and being substantially parallel to the plane defined by the margin of the mouth of said urinal. The similar urinals are nested in the package so that each urinal is inverted in relation to the other urinal, so that the handle of each urinal fits into the gap defined between the handle of the other urinal and the upper portion of the front wall of the other urinal, and so that the nested urinals approximate and fit between coincident planes.

Polishing Apparatus

US Patent:
6001005, Dec 14, 1999
Filed:
May 1, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/071442
Inventors:
Robert L. Anderson - Scottsdale AZ
Michael Manseau - Chicago IL
Janusz Aleksander Derza - Prospect Heights IL
John Edward Bussan - Libertyville IL
Assignee:
Speedfam Corporation - Chandler AZ
International Classification:
B24B 4908
US Classification:
451268
Abstract:
A polishing machine includes a platform assembly mounted within three support columns. The platform assembly includes fluidically pressurized bladders for urging the upper polish plate toward and away from the lower polish plate. In one embodiment a movable support column is suspended from an overlying frame. The support column is engaged with the upper polish plate so as to selectively raise and lower the platform assembly. In another embodiment, the platform is raised and lowered by threaded shafts so as to engage and thereby displace the upper polish plate.
