Paperboard Container Having Support Capability For Roll Materials

US Patent:
5971150, Oct 26, 1999
Filed:
Apr 22, 1997
Appl. No.:
8/840600
Inventors:
Robert Arnel Anderson - White Bear Lake MN
Arnold Nels Anderson - North St. Paul MN
Assignee:
Norflex, Inc. - Hudson WI
International Classification:
B65D 8566, B65D 85672
US Classification:

The sheet comprises four major wall panels which are aligned in a row with a major flap insert panel, each of the major wall panels having a pair of minor side wall panels aligned with minor side edges of the major wall panels, at least three of the of the major wall panels having pairs minor side panels aligned at minor side edges with holes therein, with at least two adjacent pairs of minor side panels and the major side panels most distant from each other having holes therein. This sheet may be folded upon itself to provide a self-supporting carton with holes in opposite minor side panels which can support a core or a roll of material on a core. Internal locking pieces may be provided so that no stapling or gluing of the panels is needed to secure the carton together.

Combination Collar And Muzzle Humane Training Aid

US Patent:
4621591, Nov 11, 1986
Filed:
Apr 4, 1985
Appl. No.:
6/719697
Inventors:
Robert K. Anderson - Roseville MN
Ruth E. Foster - Minneapolis MN
Jeffrey A. Levine - Bloomington MN
Assignee:
Regents of the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis MN
International Classification:
A01K 2500
US Classification:
119130
Abstract:
A combination collar and muzzle is used as a humane method of restraining, controlling, and achieving obedient behavior of animals, dogs in particular. A collar member or loop encircles the neck immediately behind the ears, and a second loop encircles the upper and lower jaws of the animal to form a type of a figure eight combination collar and muzzle. The two loops are coupled together with a ring behind the jaw. The loops are slidably connected so that when a leash is attached to the portion of the muzzle loop extending out from the connecting ring it will slide easily and at the same time will exert a downward pressure on the neck immediately behind the ears. Pressure is thus simultaneously applied to nerves and muscles tending to control the dog humanely and without choking or applying pressure to the trachea and larynx. The simultaneous pressure serves to calm and control the dog in a precise and effective manner without injury or choking and achieves precise, active and effective control and calmness without injuring the dog.

Humane Training Aid With Adjustable Muzzle Loop Having An Adjustable Locking Device

US Patent:
4941313, Jul 17, 1990
Filed:
Jul 22, 1988
Appl. No.:
7/223157
Inventors:
Robert K. Anderson - Roseville MN
Ruth E. Foster - Minneapolis MN
Bertyl W. Carlson - Richfield MN
Assignee:
Regents of the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis MN
International Classification:
B68B 102
US Classification:
54 24
Abstract:
A humane training aid comprising a collar loop and a muzzle loop that are mounted together to permit placement onto an animal such as a dog where the muzzle loop is slideably mounted through a ring held by the collar loop at the rear of the lower jaw and against the neck of the dog. The muzzle loop is placed over the muzzle of the animal. In order to make the humane training aide work effectively, the muzzle loop is made so that it closely fits the muzzle and has a portion that is positioned on the lower side of the ring held by the collar to which a leash can be attached so that upon applying a pulling force on the muzzle loop, the loop and the collar will provide pressure against the muzzle and neck of the animal to provide a calming effect and control. An adjustable slide-lock device is used to quickly adjust the muzzle loop. The slide-lock device has universal applications for adjusting loop sizes for various uses.

US Patent:
4828210, May 9, 1989
Filed:
Apr 13, 1988
Appl. No.:
7/181199
Inventors:
Robert K. Anderson - Roseville MN
Ruth E. Foster - Minneapolis MN
Bertyl W. Carlson - Richfield MN
Assignee:
Alpha-M, Inc. - Minneapolis MN
International Classification:
A47B 9609
US Classification:

The lock comprises a bore and an angled cross cam slot in the clamp housing. The bore carries the tether line, and the slot has a roller mounted therein. The slot has an end that intersects the bore and that will pinch or clamp the line in one direction of camming movement, and will release in the opposite direction to permit locking or release of the line by pulling the line in the appropriate direction through the bore.

Dog Harness

US Patent:
7819089, Oct 26, 2010
Filed:
Nov 12, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/271085
Inventors:
Sharon E. Bennett - Midlothian VA, US
Charles D. Mann - Marine-on-St.-Croix MN, US
Robert A. Anderson - Falcon Heights MN, US
Assignee:
Premier Pet Products, LLC - Midlothian VA
International Classification:
A01K 27/00
US Classification:
119856, 119863
Abstract:
A dog harness is comprised of a torso strap encircling a dog's chest, connected to a chest strap passing around the chest of a dog, and a shoulder strap passing over the back of a dog. The chest strap is provided with a limited slip loop. A leash connector is fixed to the limited slip loop. When a leash is attached to the leash connector, a directional pull on the leash causes the leash connector to slide in the direction of the pull, pulling the limited slip loop to the side and moving the pull off the center of the dog's chest, thus decreasing the opposition reflex.
