I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. I had a strong interest in Real Estate and took many classes in this field as well. Upon graduation, I decided to apply my marketing and management skills in the truck industry. While working in the truck industry, I attended Pepperdine University and received my MBA degree from Pepperdine. After many years of working in the Bay Area and Reno, I decided to pursue my earlier interests, and became a Mortgage Broker. I then broadened my experience base and began selling real estate, and obtained my Real Estate licenses for both California and Nevada, and more recently completed the Graduate Realtor Institute Designation (GRI), and Certified Distressed Property Expert Designation (CDPE).<br /><br />I have had a home in Truckee for over 22 years and rental property in Reno, and so I have returned to the Lake Tahoe region that I learned to love as a kid. I still ski and have become an avid and skilled skier and racer! I’m President of the Far West Racing Association and Vice President of Racing for the Far West Ski Association. This gives me the opportunity to organize recreational races for skiers of all ages and abilities in California, Oregon, Nevada, and Colorado, and I have organized ski races at over 22 different ski areas.<br /><br />I have tried to become more involved in our community, and in 2012, I was elected to the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as one of five elected Directors. The Truckee Donner PUD provides water and electricity to the Truckee area.<br /><br />I am excited to be part of Dickson Realty. I am confident that my extensive background in sales, marketing, and finance, together with my knowledge and enthusiasm for working in real estate will give me the tools to help you find and purchase properties in this challenging and exciting market.
