Inventors:
Robert Lee Angell - Salt Lake City UT, US
James R. Kraemer - Santa Fe NM, US
International Classification:
G06Q 50/00
US Classification:
705 2
Abstract:
A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer program product for generating an optimal healthcare delivery model. The process parses event data derived from video data to identify patterns of events, wherein the event data comprises metadata describing events associated with a medical care facility. The process then identifies a subset of patterns of events from the patterns of events that achieves a target outcome to form a set of optimized patterns of events. The process generates an optimized healthcare delivery strategy using the set of optimized patterns of events to form the optimized healthcare delivery model for the medical care facility.

A plurality of cohorts to which the first patient belongs is established based on the first set of relationships. Ones of the plurality of cohorts contain corresponding first data regarding the first patient and corresponding second data regarding a corresponding set of additional information. The corresponding set of additional information is related to the corresponding first data. The plurality of cohorts is clustered according to at least one parameter, wherein a cluster of cohorts is formed. A determination is made of which of at least two cohorts in the cluster are closest to each other. The at least two cohorts can be stored.

In one embodiment, an item selected by a customer is identified to form a selected item. Items in a list of correlated items associated with the selected item are identified to form a set of correlated items. A correlated item in the set of correlated items provides a different basic functionality than the selected item. A set of dynamic data associated with the customer is analyzed using a set of data models to identify personalized marketing message criteria for the customer. The dynamic data associated with the customer is generated in real-time as the customer is shopping. A customized marketing message is generated using the personalized marketing message criteria. The customized marketing message comprises a marketing message for at least one item in the set of correlated items.

Generating Receptivity Cohorts

US Patent:
2010015, Jun 17, 2010
Filed:
Dec 16, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/336488
Inventors:
Robert Lee Angell - Salt Lake City UT, US
Robert R. Friedlander - Southbury CT, US
James R. Kraemer - Santa Fe NM, US
Assignee:
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATION - Armonk NY
International Classification:
G06Q 99/00, G06N 7/02
US Classification:
705 10, 706 52
Abstract:
A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer program product for generating receptivity cohorts. Digital sensor data associated with a set of individuals is retrieved in response to receiving an identification of a proposed future change in a current set of circumstances associated with the set of individuals. The digital sensor data comprises events metadata describing a set of events associated with the set of individuals. The set of events comprises at least one of body language, facial expressions, vocalizations, and social interactions of the set of individuals. An analysis server selects a set of receptivity analysis models based on the proposed future event and the set of events. Each analysis model in the set of receptivity analysis models analyzes the set of events to identify conduct attributes indicating receptiveness of each individual in the set of individuals to the proposed future change. The events metadata describing the set of events is analyzed in the selected set of receptivity analysis models to form a receptivity cohort. The receptivity cohort comprises a set of conduct attributes indicating receptiveness of each individual in the set of individuals to the proposed future change.
