DESIGN: Robert Young, Ontario
Robert has inspired a collaborative working environment that has gone above and beyond what is expected of him as a PM on a daily basis. He has shown time and time again that he’s always thinking about design excellence and its importance to HMC’s culture. He has successfully organized and facilitated design competitions, a series of lectures about modern architecture renderings, including a history of contemporary techniques, and contributes immensely to the Ontario Undercurrent design group. Most recently, he shared his passion firm-wide by organizing and facilitating the President’s Award object-making competition, which inspired colleagues to flex their creative muscle. Robert’s continued involvement in ‘big picture’ thinking and the creation of a culture of design excellence at HMC marks the characteristics of a true visionary and leader.
