Philosophy:
Dr. Cole is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a CAQ in hand and upper extremity surgery. He treats problems from the shoulder to the fingertip with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Cole is a member of OrthoMemphis, which is a group practice of subspecialist partners who treat each and every musculoskeletal problem or ailment ranging from the spine to the foot.
The three Hand Center surgeons make themselves available for daily coverage of acute injuries (OrthoStat appointments). In addition to acute injuries, each day brings unique challenges for the OrthoMemphis Hand Center. We treat hand and upper extremity disorders beginning with the newborn and continuing throughout every stage of life. While orthopaedic surgery has become subspecialized, hand surgeons serve as the pediatric, sports medicine, total joint and trauma physicians for the hand and upper extremity. Many problems that we treat can be resolved without surgery.
