Philosophy:
Dr Klein's specialties include treating people with interpersonal/relational issues, promoting self-awareness and personal growth, and augmenting the depth, quality and satisfaction of relationships. Dr. Klein is a Diplomate with the American Board of Examiners in Professional Psychology with more than 30 years of experience working with adolescents, adults and couples in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As a Distinguished Life Fellow and Past President of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, Dr. Klein has maintained a long-term affiliation with the Yale School of Medicine.
Since 9/11, Dr. Klein has become increasingly involved in working with the impact of trauma on individuals, couples, families, and organizations. Teaching, supervising and training others to use groups to treat trauma is an important component of Dr. Klein's professional identity.
