Forehead Perspiration Collector/Discharger

US Patent:
5740556, Apr 21, 1998
Filed:
Aug 26, 1996
Appl. No.:
8/697479
Inventors:
Robert L. Brown - Tucson AZ
International Classification:
A41D 2000, A61F 902
US Classification:
2181
Abstract:
Headgear being an absorbing forehead perspiration collector and discharge device using primarily impermeable materials comprising a soft pliable absorbing body that features a fluid barrier with absorption apertures. The extremities of the absorbing body has a junction with a pair of attachable conduit assemblies being the means for fluid discharge. The pliable absorbing body member envelops an absorbent material and when this forehead section is secured to the wearer's head utilizing its unique attachment means it serves to block and absorb forehead perspiration flow. The plug ends of the conduit assemblies are adaptable to a support means for the benefit of dark shaded lens frames. When sweaty fluids reach excessive levels in the absorbing body they flow out through the attached conduits assemblies. The conduit assemblies also serve to secure the device to the wearers head which is effectively achieved with the aid of sliding elastic cord retainers.

Vertical Requirements Development System And Method

US Patent:
7458068, Nov 25, 2008
Filed:
Dec 20, 2004
Appl. No.:
11/017474
Inventors:
Robert Scott Brown - Tucson AZ, US
Assignee:
Raytheon Company - Waltham MA
International Classification:
G06F 9/45
US Classification:
717144
Abstract:
A vertical requirements development method is provided for developing requirements for a system to be developed. The system to be developed includes top-level requirements and is representable by a program specification tree made up of multiple layers of individual system elements, with each lower layer of the multiple layers comprising individual system elements having lower level requirements associated therewith compared to an upper layer. The method includes the steps of identifying, based on the top-level requirements, a plurality of system level requirements analyses which, upon satisfaction, comply with the top-level requirements; and for each system level requirements analysis, allocating specification requirements to each of the individual system elements that contribute to the satisfaction of that system level requirements analysis, regardless of the level of the individual system elements that contribute in the program specification tree.

Random Number Selection Device For Lotteries And Games

US Patent:
4886271, Dec 12, 1989
Filed:
Oct 31, 1988
Appl. No.:
7/264769
Inventors:
Robert L. Brown - Tucson AZ
International Classification:
A63F 504
US Classification:
273142HA
Abstract:
An apparatus for randomly selecting numbers in lotteries and games, said device consists of an upper and lower disc, center planar support, having two aperture holes and handle. The upper and lower discs have affixed inertia weights for gyration, and the upper disc bears a number of protruding pegs that is served as a number eliminator. The center support has two viewing ports at a calculated separation on a linear radial from the center axis to align with the opposing numbers group disc. The operation of the device is provided by pure mechanical forces including inertia and hand leverage to provide random numbers in conjunction with a cluster peg disc to conceal given numbers.
