Abstract:
Compositions and methods are provided for aiding human beings to complete emptying of the bladder, to reduce urination frequency, to alleviate the urgency and difficulty in postponing urination, to lessen the interruption in urinating, to increase the urinary stream flow, to facilitate the beginning of urination, to reduce nocturia, or to increase libido. These advantages are achieved by administering to a human being a preparation with at least a part of at least one plant in family Asteraceae. Preparations from a part of the plant are preferred.
