Since 2008, I’ve been reading and thinking a lot about energy. I’ve read these books: 1) Energy Victory: Winning The War on Terror by Breaking Free of Oil, 2) Beyond Oil and Gas: The Methanol Economy, 3) Plug-in Hybrids – The Car That Will Recharge America, 4) Turning Oil into Salt, 5) Alcohol Can Be A Gas, 6) The Forbidden Fuel: A History of Power Alcohol, 7) Why We Hate The Oil Companies, 8) Homegrown Defense: Biofuels & National Security, 9) Petropoly: The Collapse of America’s Energy Security Paradigm, 10) The Biochar Revolution: Transforming Agriculture & Environment; and 11) Why We Are Producing Biofuels: Shifting to the Ultimate Source of Energy. I've read part of these four books called 1) Gasification, 2) Energy Security Challenges For The 21st Century, 3) The Quest: Energy, Security; the Remaking of the Modern World, and 4) The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money & Power.
