Description:

Richard earned his B.S. in Finance from Northeastern University. His primary view of real estate is from an investment standpoint. He has found this attribute reassuring to all clients. Rental, home purchase, and those building a new real estate portfolio encounter a knowledgeable person who brings order to the chaos.

Those who are adding to an existing portfolio, need assistance with identifying overvalued holdings and marketing for disposal, or determining when, if and how much equity to use from current holdings to finance new acquisition find his strong comprehension of market mechanics, the price discovery process, and financing options and structure, to be attributes that set him apart from the field. Other areas of interest include portfolio loans, Real Estate options (put and call) and pricing of such contracts as well as using receivables (leases or cash flow) as a collateral alternative.

The son of a New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Member, Broker & Trader, he first worked on Wall St. at the American Stock Exchange (AMEX) as a "gopher" at age 16; since then, brokerage has been in his blood.

Richard has worked for organizations such as the Harvard University Endowment, The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT) and for himself as an independent futures and options trader with an emphasis on interest rate linked markets. In September 2008, Richard decided it was time for a change and left the securities business. After 18 months, this contrarian opportunity seeker saw Real Estate as the ideal niche to leverage his background and ultimately pursued his license. His financial acumen while valuable in this role, is not as important as the knowledge that rock solid relationship building is what it is all about; always reciprocal of loyalty and always looking to build a new bridge, these attributes are appreciated, and keep his clients coming back.
