Philosophy:
The practice was founded in 1978 by one of the first board-certified cardiologists in Palm Beach County. It has grown to include eight board-certified cardiologists, who trained in the top cardiac programs in the U.S. and abroad. The practice treats patients in their Atlantis (Lake Worth) and West Palm Beach offices, Good Samaritan Hospital, Kindred Hospital of the Palm Beaches, Columbia Hospital and JFK Medical Center. Cardiology Associates' physicians offer their patients advanced cardiac testing modalities in a comfortable office setting. Advanced Echocardiography, Stress Electrocardiography, Anticoagulation Clinic, Holter Monitor and Nuclear Cardiology are cutting edge cardiac diagnostic tools offered by our practice. The physicians are actively involved in clinical trials assessing new drugs, devices and other techniques for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease, lipid (cholesterol) disorders, hypertension, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure and heart attacks. They have participated in clinical trials evaluating the new drug-coated stents and the most advanced pacemakers and implanted defibrillators used to treat rhythm disorders and heart failure.
