Philosophy:
My approach is engaging and is client centered. I just do not sit back and wait for you to tell me how you feel. I want you to develop the understanding and motivation you need to take better care of yourself and to be more effective in the world. It is not up to me to tell you how to live your life. Sometimes you need to deal with a difficult situation; sometimes you need to make a change in your life. Whether your issues are situational or chronic, I would like to be given the opportunity to help. In a non-judgmental environment, you can open up and begin to heal. Healing will be done at your pace. We will explore what is and is not working in your life. You will find ways to start making cognitive and behavioral changes. You can improve mentally and physically. Less depression and anxiety, better relationships, not turning to substances, are all possible. When you feel better about yourself, other people, and the world, then you know we are making a difference in your life.
