Philosophy:
Pain Medicine is a tough specialty. I treat the "worst of the worst". People who suffer chronic pain are often angry and may have unrealistic expectations. Treatment is often more art than science since everyone perceives pain differently. My goal is to try to find an objective source of pain and stop it or at least limit its damage. If that can't be done, the goal is quality of life. I work to teach that healing comes from the inside out. Some patients want an easy fix where none exists.
