Philosophy:
Oncology is deeply personal. I lost both of my parents to cancer. I have an enduring sense of connection to oncology patients and a true passion for expert and personalized care. I balance genuine concern for my patient's well-being with tenacious research into available treatment options. At Johns Hopkins my research focus was breast cancer, but I effectively treat a wide variety of cancers given my close work with international experts in all fields of hematology and oncology.
