Philosophy:
I am a psychodynamically trained, licensed psychologist. I take an interactive but gentle approach, empathically listening to my clients while helping them explore the patterns of experience that define them. I believe low self esteem can be a cause of depression and anxiety, and can also influence relationship choices and unhealthy behaviors. I am also interested in the concept of mindfulness, nonjudgmental awareness, and self- compassion.
