Philosophy:
As a corneal specialist, Dr. Bahadur has broad experience in diagnoses, treatment, and surgical expertise in corneal disease (ex.Anterior segment reconstruction, corneal transplants, dry eye disease, and amniotic membrane use). In addition, she has a great deal of experience and expertise in the field of refractive surgery for the correction of myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (far-sightedness), and astigmatism. She performs various refractive surgeries (ex. LASIK, LASEK, astigmatic keratectomy) based on the needs of each individual patient. Of great interest to Dr. Bahadur and her staff is the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye disease, also known as dysfunctional tear syndrome. This clinic has been named the âÂÂDry Eye Treatment Center for the MS Gulf Coastâ and has helped countless numbers of patients with various ocular problems arising from having dry eye syndrome.
