I treat the person who has chronic pain with a broad range of Integrative and Holistic options to find the best approach for him or for her. My practice exceeds the standards of chronic pain management by treating the whole person...body, mind, and spirit. Careful attention is given to the selection of medicatons, if necessary, to provide safe and effective pain control. Additional attention is given to nutritional, psychological, and spiritual issues that are commonly found in chronic pain management. A critically important element of successful pain management is the attainment of signficant functional goals that add expanded dimensions of activity to the life of each individual. I encourage each patient to be an active participant in the creation of these functional goals, and to work with me as a partner in reaching these goals. Ultimately, many of the skills learned in managing pain will be useful in other areas of life. I look forward to working with you. Thank you.
