Philip J. Carroll is a professional artist, lecturer and is currently the Curator of Exhibitions for the Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown and Collingswood New Jersey. He grew up in Haddonfield, N.J. and lives with his family in Collingswood where he has been a long term resident. He teaches water color for Perkins Center for the Arts, Moorestown, N.J. and for Mainline Art Center in Haverford, Pa. Mr. Carroll is a 1983 graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of The Fine Arts, Philadelphia, Pa. and studied art history at The University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pa.
His has had one person exhibitions of paintings at Des Champs Gallery in Lambertville, N.J. in 2009, and the Monmouth Museum in 2006 .Recent group exhibitions include the Artists House Gallery, Philadelphia, Pa.,2010,2009, 2007, Mainline Center for the Arts, 2007,2008,2009, Fusion Gallery, Collingswood, N.J. , 2007, Deschamps Gallery in Lambertville, 2007-2010 and ADM Gallery Philadelphia, Pa.,2005.
