Geology and Geophysics have been my avocation as well as my vocation. The Earth has so many neat secrets. Choral Music is my principle hobby having been an avid singer from HS till having to retire from the NOLA Symphony Chorus 3 years ago due to age related ill health problems. Philology has also been one of my interests, especially as to its mapping the origins and movements of the ancient Scandinavian and German Tribes. Genealogy is also a hobby that I enjoy. I have met several cousins online due to my postings on the net and have a site devoted to My wife's and my roots.
