Philosophy:
Dr. Luisada provides hospital treatment which emphasizes thorough evaluation, rapid recovery and short length of stay. This is accomplished using medication, group therapy and the individual support of the physician and the experienced nurses on the psychiatric unit.
Treatment follows a plan developed with the patient at the beginning of the hospital stay. Education in techniques to prevent relapse or the need for another hospitalization is provided to the patient and family during the recovery phase of the hospital stay.
