Philosophy:
When you consider the spectrum of problems that can affect a person's health and disrupt his or her life, cancer is on the most significant. It is that fight to which I have dedicated myself. In radiation oncology, there is constant change, and it takes commitment - and compassion for the people in our care - to always remain in the best position to help people. New, more effective treatments are always emerging. At the same time, I know I cannot forget that each person has needs and concerns that must be addressed in order to help them. I try to imagine each patient as a member of my family, and I ask myself how would I hope they would be cared for. When I do this the answer is very simple.
