Philosophy:
As a gastroenterogist and cancer doctor my philosophy is that prevention of colon and esopahgeal cancer is the ultimate treatment. Appropriate screening in at risk individuals not only detects cancer early, thereby increasing liklihood of surgical cure, but also prevents cancer through the ablation or removal of pre-cancerous mucosal lesions and polyps before they become a problem for the patient.
