I am a reliable,caring individual.I helped care for my Father and Mother,before we had to place them at Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.I felt compelled to find employment,at a Nursing Facility,since my Father passed away from Altzheimers,in May of 2010.I was considering going to school for Nursing,but decided that non-medical employment would be best.I am interested in working,in the Food Service Field,at a Nursing Facility.(I would still feel like I was being of some service to the patients,without any direct care.)I am afraid I would get too attached,to the patients,if I chose direct care.I have experience,in this field,due to my volunteer service,at different intervals,in my life.I also, have experience with crafts.I could easily be employed as an Activities Assitant,at your facility,as well.I have been doing crafts,(free-lance),since 1978.I have done three weddings,in my family,so far!!! I would really enjoy working with the patients,in this manner.I have a lot of ideas,that I could introduce,to your facility,concerning the patients' activities.I am looking forward to utilizing my skills.
