About:
I have been a resident of southwest Florida for nearly 20 years where I worked as a nurse and raised children in the local school district. I am a real estate sales associate with Pebble Pointe Realty and owner of Able Advocates llc, a professional advocate company serving residents of southwest Florida.

Let me tell you a bit more about what I offer and why I am different. Many average realtors simply sell houses for a living and that is good but I have a much different focus. My focus is more on the needs of the client and I choose to specialize in working with difficult circumstances. As a professional advocate and real estate agent, I have more services to offer my clients and tailor my job to fit their individual needs.

Short Sales:

I have earned my short sale and foreclosure resource certification and have successfully negotiated short sales with GMAC and Chase. My edge is that I have a Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies and I have developed strong negotiation skills. It takes a person skilled in negotiations techniques and understanding of the rules to successfully negotiate a short-sale.

Senior Real Estate Services:

I earned my certification as Senior Real Estate Specials. This has enabled me to understand the needs of the aging client as they transition in life from working to retirement. Many people think the needs are the same but I can assure you that they are not. As we go thru life our needs change. When people retire there are a few paths they take. They decide to upgrade because they can entertain more. They decide to reduce because they do not want to spend as much time with upkeep. Some decide to move from urban areas to the country or vice versa. Then there are seniors facing illness and movement to facilities. In addition to being a real estate advocate, I have worked as a nurse for over twenty five years so I have a much broader understanding of the needs of our population. In addition to sales I offer senior home management services to assist seniors to stay in their homes. I will work for your best interests even if that means helping you remain in your home.

Divorcing Couples:

One of the most difficult circumstances facing a divorcing couple is deciding what to do with the house. Many emotions are high during a divorce and it can be difficult to decide on price or coordination of showings. A real estate agent trained with divorce negotiation skills can help to minimize this stress by coordinating between husband/wife and future buyers. In a divorce situation, there are three parties involved.... and even four if the couple is upside down on the home and need to negotiate a short sale. My short sale experience and understanding of divorce enables me to help with this difficult time and make the process move forward at a steady pace with less disagreements and emotions.

If you are looking for your average agent, then I am not the one for you. If you need a true advocate who will work to solve your individual needs and successfully help you find property or to sell your property, then we need to talk. I build relationships with clients that last.

If you are interested in professional advocate services to help you remain at home then visit my website at www.southwestfloridaadvocate.com.
