Philosophy:
My approach to therapy is evidence based and relationship oriented. I have extensive training and experience providing treatment that is based on sound scientific evidence to maximize your likelihood of recovery in the shortest period of time. Treatment of depression, anxiety and trauma related issues are my area of emphasis and I specialize in couple and family therapy. I am trained in Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy, which is an approach that focuses on helping couples gain awareness of and resolve the problematic patterns of interaction that maintain their distress.
I specialize in treating couples with sexual issues and couples recovering from affairs. We will spend the first three sessions conducting a comprehensive assessment using specific assessment tools designed for couple therapy. This allows us to focus your treatment around your unique needs to improve your chances of achieving a positive outcome.
My commitment is to provide you with the most effective treatment available that is tailored to your specific needs. We will routinely check-in on your progress and modify your individualized treatment plan if necessary. Together we'll build upon your strengths as you realize your treatment goals.
