Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a reinforced substrate apparatus () and method () for reinforcing a substrate (). The substrate apparatus includes the substrate, a first shield () coupled to the substrate and at least a second shield () coupled to the substrate. A strengthening member () can be coupled to the first shield and the second shield without necessarily contacting the substrate. The method can include the step of attaching () the first shield and the second shield to the substrate where at least one among the first shield and the second shield shields circuitry on the substrate. The method also includes the step of coupling () a strengthening member to the first shield and the second shield.
