Educational Projects Include: Literature Learning Ladders 2007-Present Book Club Coordinator I design summer book clubs for students in grades 4-12 that provide an opportunity to explore a piece of literature in depth. The clubs allow students to actively engage in reading and construct meaning through collaboration and discussion, while encouraging a life-long love of reading. Young Writers’ Conference 2006-Present Conference Liaison I serve as the liaison between the conference directors and Stephen S. Wise Temple Elementary School. I am responsible for organizing many aspects of this unique event, which brings students from public and private schools across the community together in one location to learn writing techniques from professional authors.
