Michelle Valdez grew up on the Western Slope, attending college at Fort Lewis College and then graduating from Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University) with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration-Finance.<br/>After graduation, Michelle worked as Investment Specialist with Charles Schwab, where she obtained her Series 7 license. She continued to work in Financial Services until the market began to decline.<br/>Michelle put her knowledge and skills to work in the Mortgage Industry working for Lenders and Brokers as a Loan Officer, Underwriter and as a Loan Processor. She also had her own business as a Contract Processor for Loan Officers in the Denver area.<br/>Michelle took a 2 year hiatus to stay at home with her 3 young children. Having a strong background in Finance and Mortgage practices, Michelle felt the next career choice should naturally be Real Estate. She sought out a small firm with strong values and a group of agents with diverse backgrounds and experience. Rocky Mountain Real Estate Advisors was a perfect fit.<br/>Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her amazing husband, twin boys and young daughter. She also loves camping, fishing (anything outdoors), innovating /designing, and spending time with close friends and family.<br/>Michelle grew up on the Western Slope, lived in various parts of Denver and has recently settled in beautiful Parker, Colorado.
