Abstract:
An breathable rack () for storing helmets is provided for use in transportation and storage. The rack () includes a frame () pivotally mounted on a mounting surface () to extend between an open position and an closed position. The rack () is secured in the closed position by a snap catch (). A flexible fabric cover member () is secured to the frame () to support a helmet () therein. A drying subsystem () including a fan () and heating elements () facilitates ventilation during use. The rack () is especially adapted for use in trailers or storage sheds.
