I grew up in a small town in Ohio as the son of a barber from whom I received guidance on how to deal with people and focus on their needs. I finished medical school at age 23 and was able to have great medical training at Dartmouth and the University of Pittsburgh. I consider my education to be an on-going process and try to provide the most advanced and safest care to my patients. I try to fit evidence based medicince to the individual needs of my patients and their family. For patients at risk for cardiovascular disease, I make great efforts in prevention. When disease is present, I try to minimize its impact on the patient and try to prevent further advancement of their cardiovascular disease process. I have great staff who make our patients feel informed and comforted.
