Abstract:
A deck attachment bracket and method of attaching a deck to a building are provided. The attachment bracket is mountable to a concrete foundation of an existing house or other structure. The bracket includes a mounting surface for attaching the bracket to the structure, a support surface extending perpendicular to the attachment surface and at least one load transmission member interfacing the support surface to the attachment surface. The bracket further includes a deck joist retaining member attached to the support surface. The deck joist attachment member accepts a standard deck joist and allows the same to be adjustable retained therein. In one preferred embodiment, the deck joist attachment member is adjustably attached to the support member of the adjustment bracket to allow the deck joist retained in the joist retaining member to be adjustably spaced from the side of the house or other structure to account for a variety of siding materials and thicknesses.

Abstract:
The disclosed invention provides a Host dispenser, which substantially eliminates the possibility of spreading unwanted germs amongst the members of a church congregation. The disclosed apparatus allows a single Host to be dispensed to a person. The Host dispenser includes a Host magazine in which a plurality of individual Hosts are stored. The Host magazine is configured to register or index the plurality of Hosts, one at a time to an ejection position, where a manually operated ejection ram ejects one Host at a time out of a dispensing opening or port included in the Host dispenser. The Host dispenser further includes a sacramental wine reservoir and dispensing valve for selectively dispensing a small amount of sacramental wine onto a Host as it is dispensed from the Host dispenser.

An attachment bracket and method of attaching a structure to a building are provided. The attachment bracket is mountable to or in a concrete foundation of a house or other structure. The bracket includes a mounting section for attaching the bracket to the structure or for inserting through foundation insulation into a foundation. The bracket further includes a support surface connected to and extending perpendicular to the mounting section. The bracket further includes a joist retaining member or joist attached to the mounting section. The mounting section includes one or more temporary support members which engage with an engagement region in the joist retaining member or joist, to temporarily support the joist or the joist retaining member in place at the proper height until the joist or the joist retaining member can be firmly secured to the mounting section.
