Our cardiac surgery practice at Missouri Baptist includes highly-skilled surgeons who work with each other on a daily basis in collaboration, not competition, treating each patient. Our group is unique in its level of experience and service provided at only one hospital. We discuss cases before, during, and after operations, and everyone is strongly committed to excellent outcomes. We have a dedicated team of cardiac anesthesiologists with an average of 25 years of experience who deal exclusively with our patients. Our ICU is solely dedicated to cardiothoracic patients, with experience far exceeding national norms. All of our recovery rooms are private, with a staff completely devoted to our patients. The office staff is patient-focused, and always available to help with any issues. Patients in our program can be assured they will be cared for with the best possible heart care .Dr. Mauney has been recognized as a St. Louis Magazine Best Doctor since 2007.
