Position:

Work:
C Jordan Construction, Inc.
since Aug 2008
-
Project Superintendent
Education:
Dallas County Community College 1979 - 1979
Certificate, Commercial Estimating
Interests:
Involving young people in the passion of building construction. Teaching the young graduates the importance of Owner relations, Scheduling, Budget control, Safety and Quality control through example. The young coming out of college need to be mentored by managers that came up through the ranks. In 15 years 90% of all "Hands-on" Superintendents will have retired leaving this industry being supervised by "Cyborg Superintendents" Sucessful companies already see this coming and have started teaming the young inexperienced with the older experienced and a change is being made. When the baton is handed off it needs to be seamless. My definition of "Cyborg Superintendent"--- An extremely intellegent college grauate starting in the construction field, not willing to come up through the hands on ranks ie. Labor, carpenter helper, apprentise carpenter, Journeyman carpenter, carpenter foreman, gen. foreman, assist. Supt. then project supt. This 15 year process will have to be down-loaded to them.
Honor & Awards:
United States Marine Corp, Honorable discharge 1980.
