Filed:
Aug 1, 2007
Appl. No.:
11/832474
Inventors:
Andrew Arata - Lake City FL, US
Michael Krall - El Cajon CA, US
Assignee:
Pure Bioscience - El Cajon CA
International Classification:
A61K 31/28, A61K 33/38
US Classification:
424618000
Abstract:
A nontoxic environmentally friendly aqueous disinfectant is disclosed for specific use as prevention against contamination by potentially pathogenic bacteria and virus. The aqueous disinfectant is formulated by electrolytically generating silver ions in water in combination with a citric acid. The aqueous disinfectant may include a suitable alcohol and/or a detergent. The aqueous disinfectant has been shown to be very effective at eliminating standard indicator organisms such as and

Method And Apparatus For Dispensing Fluids

US Patent:
6101452, Aug 8, 2000
Filed:
Nov 18, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/195771
Inventors:
Michael L. Krall - El Cajon CA
David P. Caird - Santee CA
Assignee:
Innovative Medical Services - El Cajon CA
International Classification:
G06F 1900
US Classification:
702 55
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for dispensing fluids in response to a user request for a specified amount of the fluid. A microprocessor opens and closes a fluid port for predetermined amounts of time to control the amount of fluid dispensed. The microprocessor monitors the elapsed time and the amount of fluid that has been dispensed since the last time the filter was serviced. In one preferred embodiment, the amount of fluid that is dispensed is measured by continuously monitoring the volume of fluid flowing through the apparatus. A pressure measurement device allows the microprocessor to monitor the fluid pressure. The microprocessor prevents fluid from being dispensed if the pressure is not within a predetermined range of tolerances. The fluid port is opened and closed by activating and deactivating a solenoid. A keypad allows the user to input the amount of fluid that is to be dispensed.
