The present invention is associated with a system and method of analyzing the health of a population. The population includes a plurality of members. In one embodiment, the method includes the steps of establishing a plurality of health related characteristics associated with the population, the characteristics including a plurality of primordial characteristics, establishing a relationship between the health related characteristics and at least one health condition, and analyzing at least a portion of the population in response to the relationship.
