Philosophy:

Michael L. Franz, M.D. was born in Napoleon, Ohio. He received his BA and BS degrees from Miami University and his MD degree from The Ohio State University. He received his training in pediatrics at The Ohio State University Hospital and Nationwide Children's Hospital and his training in Allergy and Immunology at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Franz is a current member and past president of the Ohio Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, The Ohio State Medical Associates and The Columbus Medical Association. Dr. Franz is a clinical professor at The Ohio State University and a former attending physician at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Allergy Clinic. Dr. Franz is board-certified in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He has a special interest in the management of asthma and sinus programs in patients of all ages. Dr. Franz is on the medical staff at Nationwide Children's Hospital, Adena Medical Center (Chillicothe) and Genesis Healthcare (Zanesville).
