Philosophy:
Pediatric Pain Management is a young field. Before 1980 there was little literature on even post surgical pediatric pain management, let alone chronic pain in children. The first academic outpatient pediatric pain clinics started in the 90's and to this day exist only associated with pediatric institutions. Dr. Michael Joseph MD is a board certified pediatrician who was trained in that system. Dr. Joseph has dedicated his career to the care for children and young adults with chronic pain.
