Michael is a 2007 graduate of the Livingston College Honors Program, receiving his B.A. in History and Political Science from Rutgers University. During his undergraduate career, Michael served as a member of the Rutgers University Judicial Board and Livingston College Writing Center. After graduating, Michael began a career with Mercury Insurance Group. <br /> <br />In 2009, Michael moved to Brookline, MA to begin attending classes at New England School of Law, focusing his legal education on laws related to business and finance. In addition to fulfilling core requirements, Michael took courses in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, bankruptcy, business organizations, and personal income taxation, to name a few. Michael received his Juris Doctorate in May, 2012 and is admitted to practice law in the state of Massachusetts. He is also a licensed Massachusetts real estate professional. <br /> <br />Out of passion for his adopted state and city, Michael founded a Boston area general practice law firm, Franzoi Legal. With a background in claims adjusting, Michael is intimately familiar with the world of insurance claims. As such, he can provide a unique perspective to clients with personal injury claims. Past experience as a hearing officer for the City of Boston makes Michael extremely apt to handle administrative appeals before state and municipal regulatory bodies. He has Chapter 11 bankruptcy related experience and has assisted in the Chapter 7 filing of a pro bono debtor through the Boston Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyers’ Project. Michael is certified with the Boston Municipal Court, the Boston Housing Court, and the Massachusetts Land Court to provide Limited Assistance Representation, and has experience in issues related to real estate and landlord-tenant law. <br /> <br />Michael, supported by his knowledge and passion for American history, vehemently believes that Boston’s ability to mix modern real estate with elements of its esteemed past are unrivaled. Internships with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council and Massachusetts House of Representatives have given Michael a progressive perspective on real estate development and planning within the state. Michael also has an impressive customer service background, proven with Mercury Insurance Group, where the ability to work with multiple parties, with varying interests, to find mutually beneficial resolutions to challenging situations, was paramount. Michael’s congenial disposition and passion for real estate sales and development means that he cherishes the opportunity to help his clients buy, sell, rent, and manage property. <br /> <br />Michael currently resides in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston with his girlfriend and their GSP, Bruin.
